How do I know if I need to detox?

You’re exposed to environmental toxins on a daily basis, they’re all around you. Just to name a few, here are some toxin contributors: building materials, indoor air pollution, outdoor air pollution, cigarette smoke, bacteria, pesticides, dust mites, molds, household products, particulates, water pollution, mercury, chemicals in plastic, wood stoves, and primarily…your food. As a matter of fact, there’s an estimated 80,000 toxins that we’ve created. So to answer the question “Should you do a flush?” YES! We all suffer exposure and should all do a flush occasionally. These toxins are dangerous to our health by affecting us at a cellular level. Negative effects may include weight gain, hormonal imbalance, and forms of cancer. Is a detox program similar to fasting?

No. Fasting for detox or weight loss is generally not a good idea. It’s a quick method to minimal weight loss that doesn’t do you any good. It sends the wrong message.
